When
most people think of cats, the domestic cats that curl up on the couch or in
baskets might be the first image that comes to their minds. However, the wild
cats, on the other hand, that are born in the wild and live far away from home,
surviving on their instincts might be an aggressive creature that you might
afraid of. There is not a chance for you to put a cat
winter hat on
it. If you have to face with a wild cat, especially one that's injured, you
probably need to calm him down before you take it for medical help. Without
sedation, the cat will hiss, claw and bite, which will be really a great big danger
to you, as long as you insist to help.
1. Visit
the vet to get a prescription for liquid sedatives for cats, which might be a
great help to calm the wild cat.
2. Mix
the designated dosage of liquid sedatives with cat’s favorite food, tuna or any
other cat’s snack you think the feral cats would be interested in. It will be
really important to attract them to eat the food that you mix with the
sedatives.
3. Scare
off any other wildlife that may try to eat the mixed food, because it will be
better to avoid other creatures to eat the food with sedatives.
4. Leave
the dish or food in the open. Go to the area where you are out of sight and
where the cat will not smell you, but where you can watch the dish. For
example, if cats are in your yard, to return to the house and look out the back
window.
5. Watch the wild cats eat food without a cheap cat house. The sedative will
act quickly enough. As soon as the cat goes limp and obviously unconscious,
move it in the case or box for transportation.
